I was in San Francisco last month so the city is pretty fresh in my brain. Today I was introduced to Shawn Clover’s photography project (via StrawberrySoup). He has merged photos from the 1906 earthquake with photos of the present day. It’s pretty damn interesting. I then had a little mooch over to ol’ Wikipedia and found this mental photo. A huge panoramic of San Francisco in ruins after the earthquake. This is one impressive photograph and if you know your way about SF a real time eater. Taken by George R. Lawrence using Kite photography. Amazing (and scary).
I’ve shrunk the photograph for this post but I suggest having a butchers at it here in all it’s glory.
